IT-solutions for oil industry makes one of the most important and, therefore, the most elaborated Contek Soft business areas. In the early 90s the first solutions were developed and deployed. These were accounting systems designed for refining ventures affiliated to OJSC Tomskneft in Strezhevoy, Tomsk oblast.

During the 20-year experience in this domain we have greatly improved our skills, which allows us to be experts in financial accounting and HR management automation of big ventures and holdings. For example, in 2003-2005 our company successfully completed the project, the main goal of which was to create a system for consolidated statement for the biggest oil company in Russia (at that time) — JUKOS. We also developed and deployed the HR management system for a JUKOS subsidiary, OJSC Tomskneft. The system provided remote timekeeping, KPI, target management. All theses solutions are relevant and are still being used by the companies, which are now part of NK Rosneft.

1. ERP:

   system for corporate management in accordance with international standards IAS and GAAP USA:

   • Consolidated statement for holdings

   To carry out the project we hold a big office of methodologists and consultants with IAB and IFA certificates on IAS and GAAP accounting. They have elaborated a unique multi-accounting SW-based and methodological model which allows building a relation between the requirements of Russian and international accounting for big operating structures.

   This model also suggests maintenance of parallel charts of accounts according to RAS, RTAS, IAS and GAAP USA without using the transformation method, and contains additional reference books and analytic characters specific for the oil industry at processing data and forming corporate statement.

2. HRM:

   human resources management system:

   • Organisational planning (planning of staffing table and salary fund, housing management and others)
   • Personnel records
   • Motivation and performance improvement (target, KPI management, control of seniors’ revenues, etc.)
   • Salary administration (remote timekeeping and bonus systems, salary accounting, any other accounting)
