• Pure outsourcing: The project manager and programming staff work at the subcontractor's side. Regular meetings between the programming staff and the client take place at the subcontractor's or client's side
• Mixed model: Representative/ Project manager is at the client's side, while the programming staff are at the subcontractor's side
• Delegated model: Project manager is appointed by the client and works at the subcontractor's side
• Distributed model: Project managers work both at the client's and the subcontractor's side. As a rule, the majority of the programming staff work at the subcontractor’s sides, while the rest work at the client’s side.
